Minimum consumption and wastage of resources. The seminar is run on a shoestring with help from volunteers, friends and a few paid helpers. Its a bit rough around the edges but incredible value.
Seminar funds, where possible, are directed towards a nominated charitable cause. Past beneficiaries have included the Rowan Armour- Brown Trust, Luthiers sans Frontiers UK and the Haiti Music Schools.
Speakers are invited from diverse backgrounds. Some controversial, some pillars of the establishment.
The Seminar should be accessible to everyone whether amateur, professional, student or just interested.
Who organises it? Rob Cain- thats it! so be patient. Please.........!
Can we have transcripts of the talks? No. Its a lot of work for the transcriber and most speakers prefer to retain their intellectual property. You can make recordings for your own personal use.

Where does the amazing lunch come from? Partly from the Newark Students who receive a discounted entry, and partly from your fee.
